Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile and talented 3D Generalist to join our creative team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering, with a
particular emphasis on 3D sculpting using ZBrush, as well as hands-on experience in 3D
printing. You will play a key role in bringing our projects to life through innovative designs and
effective prototyping.
Key Responsibilities:
● Create highly detailed 3D models and assets using Maya, ensuring high quality and
adherence to project specifications
● Utilize zbrush for additional modeling and asset creation that adheres to 2d concept art.
● Develop clean topologies suitable for character animation
● Work with 3D scans to create accurate models and integrate them into projects
● Texture and shade 3D models to achieve realistic and visually appealing results
● Collaborate with designers and team members to develop concepts and refine designs
● Prepare 3D models for 3D printing, optimizing them for printability and material selection
● Conduct tests and adjustments on printed parts to evaluate functionality and improve
designs
● Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring clear communication of
design revisions
● Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques related to 3D modeling and
Printing
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a 3D Generalist or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio
showcasing your work
● Proficiency in ZBrush for 3D sculpting, along with experience in other 3D modeling
software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max)
● Hands-on experience with 3D printing processes, including knowledge of various printing
technologies and materials
● Experience working with 3D scans and creating clean topologies for character animation
● Strong understanding of texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
● Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment
● Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts and revisions
Nice to Haves:
● Experience with CAD software and industrial design principles
● Familiarity with animation or visual effects
● Understanding of post-processing techniques for 3D prints
● Experience with reality capture and Unreal engine
