Our client, a reputable company in Lewis Center, OH, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team. Our client is open to entry-level candidates as well as those that have previous accounting experience. The role will begin on a contract-to-hire basis, offering an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within the company. This position will assist in a few different areas offering variety throughout the day. This position will sit onsite Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM

Responsibilities:

• Compile weekly production reports

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Prepare weekly bank deposits

• Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget

• Prepare payroll reports

• Assist with other administrative functions around the office

• Provide support with answering phone calls.

Qualifications:

• Ideally at least 1 year of accounting experience

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and vlookups

• QuickBooks knowledge is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
