Job Description
Our client, a reputable company in Lewis Center, OH, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team. Our client is open to entry-level candidates as well as those that have previous accounting experience. The role will begin on a contract-to-hire basis, offering an excellent opportunity to learn and develop within the company. This position will assist in a few different areas offering variety throughout the day. This position will sit onsite Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
Responsibilities:
Compile weekly production reports
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Prepare weekly bank deposits
Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget
Prepare payroll reports
Assist with other administrative functions around the office
Provide support with answering phone calls.
Qualifications:
Ideally at least 1 year of accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and vlookups
QuickBooks knowledge is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
