Job Overview:

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work closely with licensed electricians to assist with a wide range of electrical projects. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, learn industry standards, and develop the skills necessary to become a successful electrician. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in the electrical field and is ideal for candidates with little to no prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
• Help with the preparation and organization of tools, materials, and equipment for various jobs.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand wiring layouts.
• Support electricians with wiring, conduit installation, circuit testing, and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, including wire pulling, outlet installation, and light fixture mounting.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Observe and assist with electrical system inspections and repairs.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to advance in the electrical trade.

Qualifications:

• No prior electrical experience required —this is an entry-level position, and we are willing to train the right person.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and punctual.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as the job may require some physical labor.
• Comfortable working in a variety of environments (residential, commercial, etc.) and adapting to different job sites.
• Ability to follow directions, work well with others, and communicate effectively.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
