Job Description

Biomedical Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:
Threats to our military are regularly evolving and becoming more complex. What if you could apply your proficiency to weaken these developing threats and contribute to the security of our country's dynamic military resources? With all the information accessible today, it takes a capable specialist to know how to collect, organize, and present data concisely to clients. If you have professional or military experience in analysis, along with a can-do mindset, we have an opportunity for you to use those skills to help enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of senior government and military decisionmakers and planners, and support real-world missions in a dynamic, client environment.

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific and bio-engineering research, reverse bio-engineering analysis and characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments, and analytic production on foreign biomedical capabilities. You will combine your knowledge of biology, medicine, and engineering to examine medical devices, equipment, and systems. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and assist various challenges that arrive in the field of biomedical engineering.

You will be part of a unique, multi-discipline team assisting partners to fuse operations and intelligence information to enhance Government efforts against current and emerging threats, and counterproliferation efforts. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our nation's leaders.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience with biological threats analysis and vulnerabilities to biological programs, including logistics and security research, development, and testing
  • Experience reviewing analytical products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support
  • Experience with in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and IC boundaries, and clearly articulating key findings
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and developments in academia that affect tradecraft methodology
  • Knowledge of biology, medicine, and engineering to examine medical devices, equipment, and systems, identify supply chain vulnerabilities, and assist various challenges that appear in the field of biomedical engineering
  • Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master's degree in Biology, Molecular or Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Biodefense and 12+ years of experience with biological threats analysis and vulnerabilities to biological programs, or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular or Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Biodefense and 17+ years of experience with biological threats analysis and vulnerabilities to biological programs

Nice If You Have:
  • Doctorate degree in Biology, Molecular or Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Biodefense

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
