Job Overview:

Fast-paced, growing business seeks experienced bookkeeper. Must have high level understanding of all accounting processes, including inventory. Must have at least 5 years experience. Experience with multiple companies in one location is preferred. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain company data 
• Maintain virtual check book
• Maintain and record multiple transactions across intercompany transactions
• Assist with month end closing procedures
• Prepare data reports for controller, including account analysis and reconciliations
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Create payroll and other necessary journal entries 
• Aid in normal day-to-day activity 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Solid understanding of accounting software, excel, google sheets, and adobe. Gmail and Outlook experience preferred. 
• Attention to detail 
• Knowledge of business and accounting terms such as profit, ROI, assets, liabilities, etc.
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure 
• Experience with intercompany transactions 
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team 
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing 
• Flexible and adaptable to change 
• Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills 
• Must be organized 

This position reports to the controller.
