This role combines strategic planning, client relationship management, and market analysis to drive revenue and expand the contractors commercial and industrial client base in the Southeastern United States. Responsibilities: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in key markets. Cultivate strong partnerships with general contractors, developers, engineers, and other industry stakeholders. Lead the front end of the BD processfrom initial engagement through proposal development and contract negotiations. Stay on top of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy. Partner with estimating, operations, and executive teams to align efforts and drive strategic growth. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, association meetings, and client functions. Qualifications: Demonstrated success in business development within construction, electrical contracting, or related industries. Preference given to candidates with strong knowledge of the Southeastern U.S. construction market and well-established regional relationships. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of blueprints, specifications, codes and regulations. Ability to travel regionally. Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
