Location: Greater Boston Area (Pleasant Car Care & JB Auto Care)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting functions across multiple locations
• Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow reports
• Manage QuickBooks Online and ensure timely reconciliations
• Management of direct reports
• Develop, monitor, and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement
• Work closely with ownership to develop KPIs and dashboards for financial performance
• Lead monthly closing process and support external CPA and tax teams
• Track and manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor relations, and payroll coordination
• Help implement financial systems and SOPs as we scale

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting or controller-level experience (multi-unit or retail preferred)
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience (required)
• Proven experience with financial reporting, P&L ownership, and cash flow management
• Solid understanding of internal controls and fraud prevention best practices
• Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with operations and leadership teams
• Automotive, retail, or multi-unit experience a major plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Experience:

• GAAP: 5 years (Required)
