Job Title: Global Mobility Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Global Mobility and Immigration to lead and develop a specialized team of professionals. This role involves driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across global mobility programs and U.S. immigration for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 4 professionals, including 1 Global Mobility consultant and 3 immigration specialists.
  • Oversee the comprehensive U.S. immigration program supporting 250 foreign national employees.
  • Manage external vendor partnerships for visa and work permit processing while ensuring compliance with federal immigration regulations.
  • Provide guidance on new hire visa sponsorship, visa renewals, and permanent residency pathways.
  • Run the annual H-1B program for foreign national employees, establishing timelines and communication plans.
  • Conduct immigration assessments to determine feasibility and communicate processes and risks.
  • Monitor legislative developments and industry trends in U.S. immigration law to develop strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR Services on change management initiatives for policy updates.
  • Serve as a escalation point for complex immigration matters.
  • Review and approve monthly vendor invoices.
  • Oversee immigration process and expiry tracking for 350 employees globally.
  • Design and optimize immigration policies and workflows for global compliance.
  • Establish compliance protocols and oversee audits to minimize immigration risk.
  • Build strategic relationships with external immigration partners and establish performance metrics.
  • Lead global immigration strategy development aligning practices with business objectives.
  • Monitor international immigration trends and regulatory changes to provide guidance.
  • Review and approve bi-monthly vendor invoices.
  • Manage the employee global mobility program for the Americas including relocations and international assignments.
  • Lead strategic consultations with stakeholders regarding mobility policies and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for leadership and HR throughout the mobility process.
  • Partner with external tax and relocation vendors for guidance on international tax implications.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Payroll for accurate tracking and reporting of mobile employee data.
  • Review and approve weekly relocation invoices and monthly tax invoices.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in immigration law and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of tax, social security, and international law.
  • Proficient in relationship management and analytics.
  • Experience in human resources and payroll.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in immigration management is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

This role offers a hybrid work environment with standard working hours from 8 am to 5 pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
