Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to elevate our brand awareness and effectively communicate our innovative solutions to diverse markets. This role is pivotal in transforming our brand narrative and showcasing why Calyx Containers is unique in the packaging space. We are looking for someone that excels at storytelling and can leverage our capabilities to tell the story of why we are different than other packaging companies through unique content and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Development: Transform and elevate the Calyx Containers brand to reflect our expanded offerings and disruptive innovations. Lead our brand evolution initiative to showcase that Calyx is more than just containers.
Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness across multiple industries and product categories.
Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.
Content Production: Oversee the creation of compelling content that tells our unique story and resonates with target audiences.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment.
Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve organizational goals.
Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the packaging or related industry.
Digital Expertise: Proven experience in digital marketing and content production.
Brand Transformation: Demonstrated ability to successfully transform and develop brands.
Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic planning skills with a track record of developing effective marketing strategies.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills.
