Job Description

Crow Estate Planning & Probate, PLC is a reputable and fast-growing estate planning law firm with multiple offices in Tennessee and Kentucky. Our mission is to provide our clients with exceptional legal services in the areas of estate planning, probate, conservatorships, and business planning. We currently have 20 employees, including 8 attorneys.

We are seeking a full-time attorney with a strong focus on estate planning and probate for our Clarksville office . The ideal candidate will have experience and a genuine passion for working directly with clients, as our practice is highly client-centric. This is a fast-paced, demanding position involving daily interactions with multiple clients, making it an excellent fit for individuals who thrive on personal engagement and building relationships. Candidates who prefer limited client interaction or are extremely introverted may find this role less suitable.

Core Values

  • We treat one another as we would want to be treated ourselves.
  • We prioritize continuous learning, understanding that it is an essential element of success in the ever-evolving legal landscape as well as personal development.
  • We highly value open debate, acknowledging that all perspectives are instrumental in forging the best path forward.
  • Our workplace is characterized by an atmosphere of camaraderie and laughter, which fuels a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • We maintain that ego should never overshadow the importance of teamwork and the shared objective of serving our clients.
  • Character and integrity are fundamental components of a successful law practice.

Our Clientele

Our typical client is 50 years old or older, primarily female, a grandparent, on the conservative side, and has retired or is about to retire. They rightfully expect a high level of client service, personal attention, and superior expertise. Our goal is to provide an excellent customer experience for the client and build our relationship with them to better understand their goals and the legacy they seek to protect.

The Right Fit For This Position

  • Preference will be given to applicants holding an LLM in estate planning, CPA certification, or substantially concentrated in estate planning in law school. These qualifications signify a high level of dedication to mastering the nuances of this field.
  • Candidates should possess at least 5+ years experience and an understanding and familiarity with federal gift, capital gains, estate, and generation-skipping taxes.
  • Candidates should also have experience in probate, business formations, conservatorships and guardianships.
  • This position demands a fast-paced work schedule. However, our team is deeply committed, highly supportive, and values collaboration.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues alike. They should be able to translate complex legal concepts into easily understandable terms, all while maintaining professionalism.
  • Kindness, approachability, and a client-first mindset are attributes we greatly value. Our goal is to ensure our clients feel informed and confident throughout their estate planning process.
  • Candidates that have a mastery of WealthCounsel are a plus.

All inquiries will be held in the strictest of confidence.

Please note that candidates that have some background in estate planning will be heavily favored. If you are looking to transition from a completely different practice area, such as criminal law or personal injury, we are likely not the best fit for you.
