MassBio is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1985. Our mission is to advance Massachusetts’ leadership in the life sciences to grow the industry, add value to the healthcare system, and improve patient lives. We represent the premier global life sciences and healthcare hub in the world, with 1,700+ members dedicated to preventing, treating, and curing diseases through transformative science and technology that brings value and hope to patients.
Our team is growing, and MassBio is seeking an Events Manager responsible for all aspects of MassBio’s Premier Conferences, as well as Member Forums and Roundtable events. Premier Conferences include the State of Possible Conference, Align Summit, MA Pavilion at BIO, Women’s Health Symposium, Policy Leadership Breakfast and the Patient Advocacy Summit. MassBio produces 3-4 Forums through the year such as the Economic Outlook Forum, Rare Disease Day Forum, Diverse Founders Forum as well as programs featuring content in relevant areas such as Clinical Trials, Manufacturing, etc.The Executive Roundtables meet several times per year bringing together key segments of our membership: General Counsel, Patient Advocacy, Human Resources, DE&I, and Facilities and Lab Operations. Our ideal candidate will be a motivated and hands-on collaborator, with 5 or more years of event/program management experience, with a focus on enhancing value and relevancy for members through best-in-class content and premier networking opportunities.
