Job Description

A Coordinator coordinates meal counts with customer counts for each day’s flights. Ensures assigned flights are reviewed with the customers’ onboard service crew. If required, may also check flight inside the unit for the flight being reviewed on the field. Handles calls, keeps logs, communicates problems and delays, and handles relevant paperwork. Clearly communicates with the onboard service staff flight components, passenger counts, special meals, crew meals, etc. Qualifications include up to one-year experience preferred, current U.S. driver’s license, ability to read and write to complete required forms, and effective communication with supervisors and co-workers. The job requires working assigned schedules which may vary and include weekends and holidays, overtime when required, punctuality, compliance with company policies, and completion of paperwork and administrative duties. The position requires a business-like appearance, friendly attitude, ability to work unsupervised in a busy airport, excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and professional customer interaction. Work environment includes exposure to extreme temperature changes and noise, ability to lift, push, pull, and move products, equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds frequently, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours, and working at heights up to 25 feet or more depending on aircraft.
