Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager with a strong background in HVAC sales and business operations to lead our residential and commercial HVAC company . This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, overseeing daily operations, and managing a high-performing team . The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in HVAC sales , strategic leadership skills, and the ability to enhance customer relationships while ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Lead and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in both residential and commercial HVAC services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, property managers, and commercial clients .
  • Oversee the development of pricing structures, proposals, and sales presentations to close deals.
  • Implement customer acquisition and retention programs to expand market share.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily HVAC operations, including service, maintenance, installation, and dispatching .
  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies .
  • Optimize workflow and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to control costs.

Financial & Performance Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and profit margins .
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) , including revenue, profitability, and efficiency metrics.
  • Work with ownership to develop and execute growth strategies and expansion plans .

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and operations team .
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement .
  • Set sales targets and implement incentive programs to drive performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations .

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of HVAC sales experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • 3+ years of management experience in the HVAC or related service industry.
  • Strong business acumen, P&L management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of HVAC software, CRM systems, and lead platforms .
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of EPA regulations, local building codes, and industry best practices .
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field (but not required).
