The right candidate will have a strong service technician background performing advanced diagnosis, maintenance and repairs on vehicles. diagnosis and repair of major mechanical systems such as Engines, Transmissions, and Differentials. This is a rare opportunity to join our tenured team. This is a Full-Time, located in Lakewood, Colorado. As an individual contributor, you will play a vital role by providing high-quality diagnosis and repair services of major mechanical systems, such as Engines, Transmissions, and Differentials. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail in order to ensure that all vehicles leave our lot in top condition. *Compensation & Benefits:* This is a commission only position with a *highly competitive pay plans and bonus structures, including hourly plus commission for the right candidate.* Starting pay will depend on experience and certifications. The pay schedule is biweekly. Ranging from $50,000- $190,000 a year based on performance commission based salary * Career path and growth *Responsibilities* * Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership * Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications and guidlines *Qualifications* * 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required * B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair * Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination * Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies * Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve * Enjoy working in a dynamic environment * Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively * Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Join A Winning Team At Emich Chevrolet!
