Job Description

*New York Home Care* is looking for part-time and full-time dynamic *Occupational Therapists* for our Home based *Pediatric* cases. This position offers pays up to *$125,000.00* salary plus an excellent benefits package which includes: *Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 27 Paid Time Off Days, 9 Paid Holidays. FFS available at $100.00 rate per 30 minute Session*. *The option to cover Caseload on Weekends is available.* Our agency has won numerous awards for employee satisfaction and patient care.

*Occupational Therapist Job Description*
* Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
* Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers
* Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
* Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
* Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
* Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
* Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls

*Position Qualifications:*

· Licensed by The State of New York as Occupational Therapist.
