The Housekeeping PM Public Space Attendant at American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 is responsible for maintaining high standards in all assigned lobby areas, public restrooms, special cleaning assignments and performing Room Attendant duties as necessary.

Responsibilities:
\n
\n - Performs cleaning tasks in public areas including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
\n - Returns food & beverage service items found in the public areas to the proper department.
\n - Must be attentive, helpful and be able to effectively verbally communicate with all level of employees and guests in a friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
\n - Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees.
\n - Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow employees and self.
\n - Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
\n - Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
\n - Be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist if needed.
\n - Before leaving, collect all trash from the service landings and take to/dispose in outside trash dumpsters, per hotel procedures.
\n - Vacuum guest corridors.
\n - Keep hallways, public areas and closets neat and organized.
\n - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms.
\n - Adhere to the schedule for project cleaning of public areas.
\n - Maintain the stairwells to hotel standards.
\n - Perform other duties as requested by management.
\n

Requirements:
\n
\n - Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
\n - Must be able to communicate in basic conversational English.
\n - Previous experience in hotel housekeeping a plus.
\n - Ability to move, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-30 pounds.
\n - Ability to move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
\n - Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
\n - Attention to detail.
\n - Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
\n - A Monday - Sunday schedule that allows availability on weekdays, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel.
