Description The HR Manager will play a crucial role in the overall management and guidance of the HR functions within the organization. This includes overseeing talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding employment practicesThe HR Manager will be able to manage all HR functions on the platform level. This is an in office opportunity, based in headquarters in Nashville.
To be successful in the role, one must:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management, including: - Develop Onboarding Plans and Processes: Design and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization. Develop onboarding materials and handbooks, conduct orientation sessions, and provide ongoing support to new hires.
- Process Payroll: Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to address any payroll-related issues and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Manage Benefits Administration: Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits. Ensure compliance with regulations and provide guidance to employees regarding benefit options, Administer employee benefits programs and ensure they are competitive and cost-effective; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Talent, Training, and Employee Relations - Serve as the primary human resources contact for employees with regards to employee relations issues and benefits questions and needs; respond promptly and appropriately to employee concerns and questions, and coordinate with additional members of management for resolution where appropriate.
- Lead initiatives to develop and implement ongoing employee training programs focused on both professional and personal growth.
- Periodically collaborate with cross functional teams to manage talent recruiting process, incl. application process, interview questions and documentation, and hiring decision; support with screening and interview process as needed
Values Integration & Organizational Culture - Partner with senior leadership to integrate the company's values into everyday practices and behaviors.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that reflect the company's values and vision.
- Lead efforts to build a positive organizational culture that supports employee engagement, retention, and performance.
Collaboration with Center of Excellence - Work closely with the center of excellence established by our private equity partner to ensure alignment of HR policies and procedures.
- Leverage insights from the center of excellence to implement best practices and innovations in human resources management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Human Resources certificate a plus (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP, etc).
- 5-10 years of HR experience; HRIS/Payroll/Benefits/ Employee relations experience, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
- Experience working in multi-site healthcare or private equity backed companies a plus
- Proven ability to lead HR related responsibilities with a process-oriented approach and foster a positive, values-driven culture.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
