Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Safety Manager with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing and maintaining safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of safety on all job sites. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about workplace safety, eager to grow their career in construction safety management, and ready to make a meaningful impact on project success. Responsibilities: Safety Compliance : Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Assist in preparing and maintaining detailed reports, including incident logs, safety observations, and compliance documentation. Training and Education : Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for workers and subcontractors. Educate site personnel on OSHA regulations, safe work practices, and hazard recognition. Incident Response and Reporting : Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures. Compile and submit detailed incident reports to the Senior Safety Manager and regulatory agencies as required. Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, foremen, and site supervisors to promote a safe working environment. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety priorities. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on changes to OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
