We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering frontend applications that are used in marketing, sales, and general business operations.

This is a 100% on-site position in Birmingham, AL and is only available to US citizens or current green card holders. What You'll Do - Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications.
- Developing and maintaining sites built with WordPress.
- Designing mockups independently or in collaboration with a graphic designer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Test, debug, and optimize front-end applications.
- Create documentation for application features and processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
What You Need - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, web development, management information systems, or a related field.
- Work or internship experience in software development or a portfolio of impressive software development projects.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize new skills, programming languages, frameworks, and platforms.
- Ability to create responsive web applications that provide a good user experience across devices and browsers.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Svelte, and/or Vue.
- Experience creating user-friendly and visually appealing web applications.
- Writing tests for software applications (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Familiarity with common design patterns and programming paradigms.
- Proven ability to build and deliver software applications.
- Ability to create and implement designs that adhere to WCAG, web accessibility guidelines, and general best practices.
- Strong understanding of secure coding and application deployment practices.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues clearly and effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Next.js or other server-rendered frameworks.
- Proficiency with one or more backend languages or frameworks.
- Familiarity with any other CMS and front-end frameworks.
- Proficiency with PHP.
- Proficiency with SQL and database management.
