Our team is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to effective asset recovery strategies and investigative services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Private Investigator to join our team. As a Private Investigator, you will play a critical role in investigating and recovering company assets impacted by financial fraud, defaulted accounts, or other types of asset misappropriation. You will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, identifying assets, gathering evidence, and reporting your findings to assist our company in asset recovery efforts. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging profession. Working as a Private Investigator goes beyond the typical 9-to-5 office routine. Although we prioritize maintaining a healthy work-life balance, the role often involves unpredictable hours, sudden schedule shifts, and occasional travel. We aim to minimize these interruptions, but flexibility is key. This position is well-suited for those with a spirit of adventure and a passion for helping others.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities :
Drive company vehicle on assigned route to locate, photograph, and document location of company owned assets.
Investigate and locate assets not found at delivery address.
Communicate with customers as necessary to locate company owned assets; resolve account disputes; prompt payment; and assess repairs needed.
Collect and report any important information on customer accounts for office use.
Collect any payments necessary and turn into the office.
Verify inventory at sales locations as requested.
Check and confirm the serial number on each asset whether at customer address or sales location.
Report any maintenance required on assets.
Take pictures of any obstructions preventing access to assets.
Conduct in-depth investigations to locate and recover assets
Analyze financial data, identify assets, and assess the value of assets.
Collect and analyze evidence to support asset recovery efforts.
Work with legal teams, law enforcement, and other professionals to ensure the recovery process adheres to legal requirements.
Develop and implement investigative strategies to locate hidden or moved assets.
Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, evidence, and recovery efforts.
Stay current with industry regulations, fraud schemes, and best practices in asset recovery.
Provide recommendations on how to protect company assets and reduce the risk of future loss.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement and Military preferred.
Proven experience in asset recovery, financial investigations, or fraud prevention.
Strong knowledge of investigative techniques and financial systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
Familiarity with legal frameworks and regulatory requirements for asset recovery.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (Excel, investigative databases, etc.).
Must be a Licensed Private Investigator in Colorado (must be licensed in CO by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Office of Private Investigator Licensure to conduct private investigations)
Must have a clean MVR
A Background check will be conducted, and drug test required.
