We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated MA Barred Healthcare Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases, representing clients in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator with a proven track record in healthcare litigation, excellent legal writing skills, and a passion for advocacy. The role involves working on a broad range of healthcare-related litigation matters, including malpractice, fraud and abuse, regulatory compliance, and contract disputes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of seasoned attorneys, contribute to high-profile cases, and make a significant impact in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of healthcare litigation, from case inception through trial or resolution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential litigation risks and strategies.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and trends in the healthcare industry.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on case status and developments to clients and firm management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing with the MA bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare litigation.
- Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Proven track record of success in litigating complex healthcare cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent clients and interact with all levels of staff and management.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Familiarity with electronic document management and research tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for case preparation and trial.
