Position Summary

The Manager of Development impacts many different elements of PSA Airline's. This individual helps to develop training that will improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our airline. This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating of the training and development activities and staff of PSA Development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate development activities and staff.
  • Design and develop training materials utilizing web-based training programs and Learning Management Systems to meet training requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, customer representatives, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers) to research, design, develop and implement effective training solutions.
  • Provide timely status updates and reports on assigned projects and organizational performance to supervisor.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and do what is necessary to ensure assigned projects are completed on schedule and to department standards.
  • Directs and cultivates effective collaboration with third party vendors and programs. Design of both in-house and with expert third parties, solutions that include a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, experiential learning, distance learning and online learning.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Required Technical Skills and experience include working knowledge of Microsoft office, working knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Premier, and Pro, and Microsoft Forms and Teams.
  • 2-5 years of course development experience.
  • 5 or more years' experience in similar field and/or industry.
  • Experience with developing and teaching in an online environment.
  • 1 + years' experience leading aviation professionals.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.

Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
