Responsibilities

Meritage Homes is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to participate in the implementation of division marketing support, including

• Serve as the primary marketing resource for the Marketing Manager and as the secondary marketing contact for the division
• Support the Marketing Manager in planning marketing efforts to include incentive promotions and agent outreach
• Coordinate the development and execution of all marketing collateral and campaign materials; ensure adherence to brand standards
• Manage content on our division, community and listings websites
• Perform ongoing website audits and ensure content is accurate and up-to-date
• Assist with digital marketing initiatives (i.e., create and distribute eblasts and flyers, create and submit digital marketing requests, create social media content, etc.)
• Assist in the new community opening process (planning, execution, follow-up)
• Support divisional, regional and national marketing initiatives including special projects as requested
• Assist the Marketing Manager in tracking expenses for project marketing, model furniture and monthly advertising budgets
• Responsible for departmental administrative tasks including vendor set-up, invoice coding/processing/tracking and expense report preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 1 + year of work experience in marketing field
• Homebuilding Industry experience preferred
• Requires the ability to deal effectively with internal customers and make decisions in a high-volume fast-paced work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe Photoshop
• Detailed editing and proofing skills required as well as high motivation with proven judgment to plan and accomplish goals and meet deadlines
• MUST be able to work in a changing, challenging, and fast-paced environment
• Attendance may be required at some weekend and evening events
