Description
Registers patients and inputs data in computer system
Able to schedule, with good phone and customer service skills.
Prepares rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
Opens sterile supplies and sets up for procedures.
Demonstrates sensitivity to patient's comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress.
Ensures accurate maintenance of patient's medical records and that patient records are treated as confidential information.
Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations, interdepartmental objectives, and infection control policies.
Provides health care instruction to patient and family members.
Documents transactions, phone conversations, observations, and orders in medical record according to policy and procedure of clinic.
Responsible for following clinic policies and procedures for infection control in handling and disposing of infectious/hazardous waste materials.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
