Financial District Foot and Ankle is looking to hire a Front Office Medical Assistant as soon as possible! ** Please apply and we will reach out to you shortly**

Have you always wanted to work in a fast-paced medical office where you are an integral part of the TEAM ? Do you pride yourself on your customer service skills? If so, then we have the perfect front office position for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Patient communication and scheduling through texting instead of telephones.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of patients from check-in and check-out.
  • Performs billing functions including EOB analysis, claim line item posting, ERA allocation and insurance adjustment and write-off codes.
  • Filing, faxing and daily chart and superbill preparation.
  • Facilitates accurate and complete collection of patient demographic information.
  • Ensures positive customer service atmosphere and interactions in reception and scheduling areas.
  • Performs insurance and benefits verification
  • Process incoming mail and process credit card payments daily from both insurance and patients
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, staff, patients, and others.

Technology Skills: Advanced computer skills including Word and Excel

  • Typing 60+ WPM and ability to create up to 50 professional, error free texts replies to patients daily.
  • Social Media Savvy including Instagram and TikTok
  • Experience with online Practice Management billing software.
