Overview- We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Lead System Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based solutions.

Role- Pega Lead System Architect

Location- Chicago, IL- Hybrid

Qualifications-

• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Pega PRPC, strong leadership capabilities, and experience in architecting scalable enterprise applications
• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification is required
• 10+ years of experience in Pega PRPC development and architecture
• Strong understanding of Pega 8.x+ features, frameworks, and best practices
• Experience in designing scalable, enterprise-grade Pega solutions
• Hands-on expertise in case management, decisioning, workflow automation, UI/UX design, and data modeling within Pega
• Solid experience integrating Pega with RESTful and SOAP web services
• Strong background in Pega security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Pega solutions
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Pega-based applications in alignment with business requirements
• Define application architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance best practices
• Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to translate business needs into Pega solutions
• Drive Pega platform best practices, design patterns, and reusable components
• Oversee Pega upgrades, migrations, and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party applications)
• Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails, coding standards, and governance frameworks
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Pega developers and system architects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Infrastructure) to ensure successful project delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Pega application issues
• Support agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
