Job Description

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas, beginning Aug 2, 2025. The schedule primarily includes weekday clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and associated call duties. This role involves a mix of new patient consults, follow-up visits, and participation in tumor board meetings, providing a diverse and engaging work environment.

• Weekday Clinic: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Weeknight Call: Aug 4-8, Aug 11-15
• Weekend Call: Aug 2-3, Aug 9-10, Aug 16-17
• December Schedule Adjustments: Includes clinic closure on Dec 25, 2025, and Jan 1, 2026, for holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct initial consultations to assess patient needs and establish treatment plans
• Provide follow-up appointments to monitor progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Participate actively in tumor board meetings to discuss and plan patient care with other oncology professionals
• Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and timely in Aria, Eclipse, and Meditech EHR systems

Additional Information

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology required
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensing in Kansas
