Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to lead and coordinate software and infrastructure releases across a complex enterprise IT environment. The role will drive structured, predictable deployments using ServiceNow and support enterprise-level Change Management processes. You’ll ensure that releases are deployed with minimal disruption, full visibility, and alignment to compliance standards. This position will be a contract and hybrid in Miramar, Florida. Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2. Own the end-to-end release lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across multiple systems and teams. Maintain and continuously improve the Release Calendar in ServiceNow, aligning to enterprise milestones and blackout periods. Chair Release Readiness Reviews and Post-Implementation Reviews, identifying risks, blockers, and opportunities for optimization. Ensure pre-release validation including QA signoff, deployment scripts, back-out plans, and communications are complete. Track and report on release success metrics, post-release issues, and deployment stability. Collaborate with the Change Manager to review, assess, and improve the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process. Support the evaluation and approval of Standard, Normal, and Emergency Changes, ensuring alignment with release windows. Serve as a backup facilitator for CAB meetings and change impact assessments. Ensure changes linked to releases follow appropriate compliance, documentation, and risk protocols. Leverage ServiceNow for release/changes, reporting, and stakeholder notifications. Champion best practices for ITIL-based release/change management and drive process maturity. Required: 4-5 years of experience in Release Management or IT Service Management in a large, complex IT environment. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in Change, Release, and CMDB modules. Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks (Release, Change, Incident, Problem). Experience coordinating application and infrastructure deployments in multi-team, multi-vendor environments. Excellent organizational, risk assessment, and communication skills. Preferred: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). Physical Demands: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards. Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
