From leadership skills to client service and selling techniques, the Retail Training team within the department delivers store-based training programs, focused on linking business to behaviors, resulting in sustained behavior change that support key business initiatives and help the company achieve its goals. Job Summary: As a Retail Training Manager within the Retail department, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to Sephora and Sephora@Kohl’s store teams. Your focus will be on leadership development, coaching, client service, and selling skills. These trainings promote lasting behavior change that support key business initiatives to help the company achieve its business goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail Training, you will manage and execute consistent, engaging, and effective facilitation across a variety of training methods and channels. Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitate dynamic in-person trainings to support ongoing skill building and development. This includes onsite training, coaching, and feedback both in your local market and traveling to remote markets. Execute a wide variety of virtual instructor-led trainings on various topics, catering to a full range of audience types, including different positions and varying experience and skill levels. Hold recurring planning meetings with Sephora and Sephora@Kohls District Managers to discuss and align on a training strategy tailored to the specific needs of each market. Manage and monitor all administrative tasks, communications, schedules, travel arrangements, and expenses/budget management. Working Conditions: Must be able to travel frequently (up to 75% within a month). Travel can include airplane flights, personal and/or rental car trips. Consistent access to dedicated remote working space conducive to a virtual learning environment with access to high-speed stable internet to facilitate virtual training. Qualifications: Exempt level store leadership experience or higher (e.g., store manager/assistance store manager or above.) - 3+ years Experience/proven ability to effectively train and facilitate; including but not limited to running a leadership or district meeting - 3+ years Cosmetic industry experience preferred, but not required. Education: No degree required. Competencies and Skills: Proven ability to collaborate and leverage strong partnerships at all levels in and outside of the organization. Proven ability to demonstrate managerial courage and effectively share, receive, implement feedback, with various levels of employees. Demonstrates proven ability to effectively plan and align, manage multiple projects, and logistics simultaneously. Thrives in a highly autonomous environment while demonstrating effective decision-making skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and command skills and understanding of how people learn. Takes initiative to focus on self-development; demonstrated continuous improvement mindset. Other Information: The annual base salary range for this position is $96,390.00- $117,990.00. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
