Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Financial in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within financial institutions, helping to deter potential security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment, while also providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires carrying a sidearm, and you will be expected to engage with access control systems and utilize technology such as computers or tablets. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at the location.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment by being observant and proactive in identifying potential security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and other personnel to address security concerns and enhance the overall security posture of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have an Armed Sidearm designation.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
