Position OverviewAs a Special Education Teacher at LPS , you will:
📚 Provide differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs
🎯 Develop & implement IEPs in collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff
🤝 Advocate for students with disabilities to ensure equitable access to education
📊 Use data-driven strategies to track progress and adjust instruction
🎭 Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
💬 Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
Qualifications✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field (Required)
✔️ Texas Special Education Certification (EC-12) (Required)
✔️ Experience in Special Education or working with diverse learning needs (Preferred)
✔️ Strong knowledge of IEP development, instructional modifications, and behavior strategies
✔️ Commitment to student success and inclusion
