Akkodis is recruiting for a Sr Tax Accountant for a manufaturer in the the Mesquite, TX area. This is an onsite direct hire position with a pay range of $72K annually to $85K annually depending on experience, education and location. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance, including federal, state, and local filings, as well as providing support across the full accounting lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency, and a deep understanding of tax regulations. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on tax.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• CPA certification preferred.
• Master's degree in Taxation.
• Experience with tax research software.
