Job Description

Triad Engineering, Inc. has an immediate need for a Staff Landscape Designer in our Hagerstown, MD office location.

DUTIES
  • Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
  • Perform assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities
  • Perform routine portions of broader landscape design projects using prescribed methods, and under regular supervision
  • Assist in preparation of reports and correspondence concerning assigned projects
  • Maintain client contact and relationship where applicable
  • Prospect for new clients
  • Strive to make each project profitable
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture
Experience
  • AutoCAD / Civil 3D experience is required
  • Exposure to engineer-related activities is highly preferred
Additional Requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills
  • Must be comfortable communicating with the public
  • Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office and relevant technical software required), including the ability to learn various types of company / client software
  • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
Work is performed both in the office and in the field, which may include all weather conditions, construction sites and/or difficult terrain, and extensive standing and walking. The employee may occasionally be required to push, pull, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear and frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Vision requirements include close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus. Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities, as defined by the ADA.
