Durango Surgery Center in Durango, Colorado, is seeking a motivated Full Time, Surgery Scheduler to join our team. Enjoy weekends off, with no holidays or call. Summit View Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. JOB SUMMARY The Scheduler is responsible for managing all aspects of patient scheduling for the surgery center. The position has significant communication requirements with practice offices, leadership teams and employees. The job requires excellent communication skills to build collegial relationships with surgeons, patients and staff. The position may also require assisting with insurance verification and/or other areas key to the continuity of patient care. USP-123 LI-KC1 Required Skills: REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree encouraged 2 years of experience in a clinical environment preferred 2-3 years of scheduling experience preferred Ability to read, write and comprehend English Basic typing and computer experience USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
