Job Details

• Provides quality patient care to all patients within two or more medical imaging departments.
• Performs high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
• Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
• Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and upholds current standards of practice for the unit.
• Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling and optimal use of equipment/resources.
• Communicates in writing and verbally with all physicians, imaging personnel, students and hospital staff in facilitating the continuum of care.

Job Requirements

• 1 year imaging experience.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
• Float Requirements: -Floating may be required to any CommonSpirit location within sixty (60) miles of the original assignment location or CommonSpirit-identified “float zone”. -Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment job requirements (including skill set) in accordance with CommonSpirit policy.
