Truck Driver CDL A OTR at Ryder System summary:

We are seeking a Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder in Minneapolis, MN. This position offers competitive pay averaging $2100+ weekly, flexible schedules, and various benefits including paid time off and sign-on bonuses. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with a tractor-trailer and be able to comply with federal and state regulations while ensuring safety on the roads.

Drivers are averaging $1900+ or more per week - And it gets better! Top 10% of our drivers at this location make $115k+/year!

• $2100+ Weekly Average, Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour Plus Additional $1 for Every 3 Certifications/Endorsements
• Regional within 300 mile radiusof your house, Needs reliable vehicle
• Overtime Paid After 40 hours
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel OR Sleeper
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night
• Schedule: Monday – Friday;Saturdays and Sundays as account needs.Must be Flexible
• NST Tenure bonus $1000 each year when actively employed from Nov 1st – Oct 31st
• Sign On Bonus: Pays you $250 at 30 days and $250 at 90 days
• Trailer Type: Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer
• Deliver To: Eastern US and Midwest areas
• Accept Auto Restrictions
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper
• Paid Travel
• Freight: Touch/No Touch - Varies by Account, Load Securement – Flatbed Accounts
• Comprehensive Benefits start 30 days after hire
• Paid Time Off Starts at Day 1 - 80 hours accrued in 1st year
• We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
