Kruger Animal Hospital is moving into a  brand-new building this Spring and accepting applications for our new managing veterinarian to lead our collaborative and fun team! Located in Bloomington-Normal, our doctors and staff have been providing medical, grooming, and boarding services for our  small animal and exotics clientele for over 70 years. We are open to either an experienced leader or a strong associate looking to take the next step in their career. Our current managing veterinarian, Dr. Bleem, has plans to continue practicing after passing the torch and will be readily available to transfer knowledge and mentor the next generation of Kruger leadership as needed. You will also have unparalleled access to a cohort of managing veterinarians from nearby NVA practices to collaborate and network with as well as an experienced Medical Advisory Board to provide guidance and support. • Small animal with a mix of avian, reptile, and small mammal exotics care (not required)
• Modern surgical suite with isoflurane anesthesia, electrocautery, and advanced surgical monitoring capabilities including oscilloscope, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
• Orthopedic surgery services with laser therapy
• Ultrasonic dental equipment with digital dental radiography
• ECGs performed and interpreted on-site
• Robust pharmacy with compounding capabilities
• Full IDEXX laboratory for selected blood chemistry, urinalysis and sediments, PCV, TP, Fe-Leuk, and various ELISA tests run by technicians. Complemented by an external full-service clinical and pathological IDEXX laboratory.
• Quick and reliable referral service to various specialists in the area
• Paper-light, Avimark computer system to house and manage our client database
• We encourage and support the cultivation of our doctor’s special interests

*Prosal Compensation with a base range of $110k - $150k. Compensation commensurate with experience, skills, schedule, and the scope of services provided.
