About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, People and Culture to serve as a strategic HR advisor and business partner. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading organization-wide efforts to sustain a culture that reflects the company's values, designing and executing initiatives to promote employee engagement, and ensuring the professional delivery of HR services. This role involves directing the development and implementation of programs to support employee engagement, retention, and development, as well as leading the integration of equity, diversity, and inclusion values into HR policies. The Vice President will also be a key player in managing change processes and organizational restructuring and will oversee the performance management program and compensation activities to align with the company's goals. Applicants for the Vice President, People, and Culture position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and 5 years in compensation development and management. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large, geographically distributed organizations, and experience in a unionized environment is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to manage change and interact with all levels of management. The role demands a collaborative and inclusive leadership style, a commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion, and a deep commitment to building a culture of workplace excellence.
