The principal duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Schedule all inbound appointments and operate the Inbound Delivery Monitor; Processing outbound functions through the Pick Wave Monitor; Create, edit, and update all inbound deliveries; File all receiving documentation daily; Process all Proof of Delivery requests in a timely manner; Provide customer service to vendors, customers, and internal employees; Provide direction and assignments to the workforce in conjunction with receiving supervisor; Process and prepare shipping documents for local long haul routes; Help with phone coverage; Operate the Pick Wave Monitor and prepare labels for shipping and loading; Assign work to crew and give direction for loading process in conjunction with shipping supervisor; Internal distribution dock auditing; Returns processing; Other duties assigned by management. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include: HSD or equivalent preferred; 1-year of warehouse office experience preferred; Minimum of 2 years previous clerical experience in a distribution environment or equivalent combination of education and experience; Strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to use a PC to send and receive an e-mail as well as operate programs in MS Office Suite; Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word and MS Excel); Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; Ability to follow detailed instructions; Ability to adhere to Edward Don & Company’s Standards of Conduct policy; Previous SAP experience.
