Position Overview:

\n

The Web Analyst intern will play a key role in supporting the digital marketing team by assisting with the implementation and analysis of web optimization strategies. The Web Analyst intern will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing website performance data, providing insights into omnichannel marketing efforts, and supporting ongoing landing page optimization.

\n

• This opportunity offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid schedule, with one day per week in the Falls Church, VA office.
\n

\n

 

\n

A Day in the Life of the Web Analyst Intern:

\n

\n
• Assist in the development and placement of A/B tests on the website using Winfigy to optimize user experience and website performance.
\n
• Monitor and analyze results to identify successful strategies and areas for further optimization.
\n
• Review Hotjar reporting and provide insights into user behavior to help guide UX improvements.
\n
• Perform competitive UX analysis and create light reports on testing areas and potential opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Audit the landing page universe and identify areas for optimization to improve conversion rates.
\n
• Utilize CMS skills to support the execution of landing page improvement.
\n
• Review and analyze data from GA4 and GSC to provide insights to omnichannel efforts.
\n
• Develop custom views and dashboards in GA4 and integrate GA4 data into Tableau for comprehensive reporting.
\n
• Assist with reporting and data analysis using Sprout and Eloqua.
\n
• Other duties as assigned.
\n

What You Bring to the Table:

\n

\n
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), basic HTML, GA4, Hotjar, Wordpress, and Google Web tools is a plus.
\n
• Understanding of scientific method and devising tests.
\n
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
\n
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Suite.
\n
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in time-sensitive situations; aptitude to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
\n

Education:

\n

\n
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Media, Business, Statistics, Analytics, or related field.
\n

\n

 

\n

Compensation:

\n

The base compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. The base pay represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
