Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Well-established aerospace & defense products contractor Industry Defense & Space Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in need of an operationally-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in the aerospace, defense, military, or government sectors. The CFO will play a key role in strategically partnering with the executive team to drive growth, both organically and through acquisitions. This includes the introduction of formal systems and processes in the finance and accounting function, as well as the development of cross-functional management processes to enhance value and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to leadership, with expertise in finance, accounting, reporting, analysis, contract administration, procurement, and inventory management. Experience in a leveraged environment and an understanding of the requirements of a private equity investor are also important. The successful CFO at the company will be expected to be a proactive and detail-oriented leader, capable of stepping into a strategic role in collaboration with the CEO and operating team. The role demands a professional who is not only adept at the technical aspects of the position but is also willing to be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations.
