Job Description

Position Summary:

As The Children’s Place Brand Sr Marketing Manager you are part of a strategic team of big thinkers and creatives who work interdependently to drive brand strategy, omni channel marketing initiatives and integrated campaigns to enhance customer engagement and business growth. This role will lead the development and execution of seasonal marketing plans that align with business objectives and consumer insights. This includes managing integrated marketing efforts across digital, social, and in-store experiences. A strong focus will be placed on social media strategy understanding both organic and paid – leveraging platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role will oversee partnerships and collaborations – identifying opportunities to align with complementary brands, influencers and strategic partners to amplify our brands in the market. The Senior Marketing Manager will also work cross functionally with internal teams and external agencies to drive best-in-class marketing activations, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

Brand Advisor

  • Ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives across the annual marketing calendar
  • Drive seasonal hindsight process by utilizing historical performance, current trend analysis, market research and cross-functional feedback in partnership with Director
  • Capture hindsight program performance and identify key learnings to impact future initiatives
  • Manage seasonal budgets for brand, social, seasonal campaigns and public relations
  • Oversee media/agency invoicing process, ensuring contracts are within budget and accurately accrued for
  • Partner with external vendor and internal Legal team on all current and future contracts, sweepstakes and contests

Omni-Channel Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement 360 multi-channel lifecycle marketing plans for all marketing touchpoints, collaborating with external vendor and cross-functional internal partners to deliver on business goals
  • Lead seasonal planning and oversee marketing execution, including collaborative planning, goal setting, creation of briefs for season, stories and campaigns
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing cadence, messaging, promotions and media across all channels
  • Track industry trends, new technologies and competitive data to drive innovation in our marketing strategies and programs

Social Media

  • Leads social media strategy and execution through innovative ideas and compelling content that serve to meet followership goals, increase engagement, ecommerce and in store traffic and sales
  • Oversees direct reports in development of social calendar and seasonal social activations, and in partnering directly with creative teams for brand creative needs

Team Development

  • Oversee the development of Direct Report(s); monitor their performance, ensuring growth and development within the organization
  • Employ a strategic approach to process; organize and divvy up work effectively
  • Serve as mentor and role-model to junior team members and cross-functional partners, even if don’t have a direct-reporting relationship

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing and social media management
