Job Title: Solid Waste Manager Job Summary: As a Solid Waste Project Manager , you will be assigned to support a set of specific customers to drive waste reduction strategies , policies, programs, and initiatives. You will leverage your experience to support waste management activities utilizing best practices for our government and commercial customers . As a business partner with site leadership , you will be an integral part of the team to assist in establishing policies, setting direction toward execution, and reporting on monthly progress to established goals. Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and present waste audit data
• Research and design recycling programs for specific industries
• Implement programs onsite , working hands-on with our employees and customer representatives
• Create education training programs and raise awareness
• Audit, analyze, and report new program results
• Demonstrate persistence, respect, and tact
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining communication with Managers and customers on important issues
• Prepare monthly reports and waste audits
• Onsite staff management and equipment management
• Manage vendor services
• Other tasks as assigned

• Proficient in the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
• Successful implementation skills , including diplomacy, tact, and perseverance
• Must be results-oriented , self-motivated , and capable of taking initiative
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a position focused on customer service or customer-related activities
• Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in waste management, recycling, and food composting
• Ability to obtain security background clearance to access customer facilities, as required

• Bachelor's degree (Required)
• Solid waste management experience: 4+ years (Required)
• Security clearance : Confidential (Preferred)
• Shift availability : Day Shift (Preferred)
• Ability to commute to Arlington, VA (Required)
• Ability to relocate to Arlington, VA before starting work (Required)
